Welcome to the Seasonal Flu Shot Registration Website

Coming to a public school near you!

The Arkansas Department of Health has created this seasonal flu vaccine website to allow parents and students 18 years of age and over to register their children and themselves for a seasonal flu shot at any Arkansas public school.   This website will speed up the registration process for the public school flu clinic.

Following the Center for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines, only the injectable form of the flu vaccine will be available at all flu clinics in the state this year including school clinics.  There will be no nasal mist vaccine available.

This is an opportunity to serve your community by doing your part

Flu causes children to miss school and their parents to miss work. Dr. Nate Smith, state health officer and ADH director, said, “Getting an annual flu vaccination is the best way to protect yourself and your family against the flu.”

The flu shot is not required for children to attend school, but it is highly recommended.  The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the American Academy of Pediatricians (AAP) recommend everyone aged 6 months and older receive a seasonal flu vaccine every year.
